拉丝铆钉是结构型抽芯铆钉中较为主要的产品之一，它具有双锁功能和封闭作用，铆接后钉芯锁在铆体里形成高抗拉抗剪强度。
拉丝铆钉的铆体材料有铝、铁和不锈钢等，产品主要用于航空制造行业。在国内拉丝铆钉又称口杯型抽芯铆钉，拉铆钉，包括内锁拉丝铆钉与外锁拉丝铆钉。
拉丝铆钉又称口杯型抽芯铆钉，属于结构型抽芯铆钉，拉铆后钉芯断钉处会翻边入铆体凹槽内，锁紧钉心。
内锁拉丝铆钉与外锁拉丝铆钉从表面看区别不大，机械性能也大致相同，主要就是拉铆后的锁紧结构不同，一般条件下内锁拉丝铆钉常规铆钉枪即可使用，外锁拉丝铆钉需要配套对应的拉铆枪。
